The paintings (some thumbnails represented here) of the artist life very much reflects her interests and the world around her. Paintings and drawings of dogs and cats (some not seen here) was one such successful endeavor welcomed by friends and pet lovers who commissioned a series of works.

There are many beloved pets the artist portrayed in their loving homes. Then there were the interior works that look upon bouquets of flowers and the love for them by the artist granddaughter. Above is an illustration or snap shot of the artist son, Daughter-in-Law, and their dog BC (before children) near their home on top of their beloved Big Bear, California Mountain.

Transitioning from mountains on to the seemingly endless freeways that stretch in all directions with delightful scant visions ignites the creative force in the artist mind. In some cases, flowers along those roads barely are revealed in the Spring time when blooms appear complete with views of the expanses of open skies.

Not seen is a look back at Long Island’s posh Equestrian Society that still exists in New York, of the 1920’s, a scene of flowers dripping along the boundaries of a Malibu Beach, a favorite pink birthday rose individually illustrated. The artist has moved from human portraits and city life in New York City, and crossing the country into the expansive landscapes of California.
